Seventy-Fifth Precinct Going Digital, Seeking Homelessness Resolution
The NYPD is experiencing a citywide decrease in crime and East New York is a contributing factor. According to Inspector John Chell, commanding officer of the 75th precinct, 7,000 fewer arrests were made in 2017 than the previous year with an overall two percent drop in crimes while shootings (down over 30 percent) saw a historic reduction.
