Nicolas A. Hall, 35, of North Ridgeville was sentenced to two years of community control by Lorain County Common Pleas Court Judge Christopher Rothgery on Jan. 10.
Hall pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of endangering children, possession of marijuana and illegal use of marijuana.
According to North Ridgeville police, the charges stemmed from a March incident in which Hall’s daughter ate a THC-laced gummy bear and was transported to hospital after being found unconscious at his home in the 6500 block of Rosabelle Avenue.
Capt. Marti Garrow said at the time Hall procured the gummy bears from Colorado and the girl found them in a dresser drawer inside the home. He said the child recovered quickly and Lorain County Children’s Services was contacted.
