The transfer window is now open for the entire month with Premier League sides looking to strengthen their squads for the second half of the season.
Liverpool were the first big movers as they have completed the £75m signing of Virgil van Dijk from Southampton after being linked with him last summer as well.
But they have suffered a huge blow as Philippe Coutinho has joined Barcelona in a deal worth a massive £142m.
Arsenal have also added young Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos to their ranks in the early days of the window but he is expected to be loaned out by the club.
Chelsea have spent £15m on Ross Barkley and Everton have immediately reinvested that in signing striker Cenk Tosun from Turkish side Besiktas.
