Anti-Corruption Commission raids Export Promotion Bureau

The Anti-Corruption Commission or ACC has raided the offices of the Export Promotion Bureau or EPB after receiving complaints of bribery and harassment.

A team led by Director Kazi Shafiq started the raid around 10am on Thursday on the EPB offices in Dhaka’s Karwan Bazar, ACC spokesman Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told bdnews24.com.

The raid was initiated after the graft watchdog received a complaint through its hotline 106, said Assistant Director Bhattacharya without elaboration.
