Popular and controversial producer Vikas Gupta entered Bigg Boss 11 and pretty much claimed his spot in the finale during the first week. He had entered the show with his arch-enemy Shilpa Shinde, so of course, the fireworks began from week one. And the way he dealt with situations – he won hearts all over. Further, in the game, his mastermind planning came to light and viewers realised he might be the smartest player inside the house. Of course, having worked in the industry for such a long time, one tends to learn the tips and tricks of survival in showbiz. So, really, his finalist status comes as zero surprises for anyone.
Outpouring support from the industry
Vikas is the head honcho of one of the very successful production houses in the industry. That gets him in the good books of many industry people by default. He has had a long association with Ekta Kapoor. He is getting outpouring support from many celebrities including Karan Patel, Kishwer Merchantt, Suyyash Rai, Kritika Kamra and many many more, which of course is a campaign enough in itself.
Mastermind
He is the mastermind of the game. He has been rightly planning his moves ever since day one of the game. Things have worked out in his favour not because he was fortunate but because he employed his brain more than anyone else in the game. His strategies and plans have worked out, mostly. So, there is a possibility that he already has a tactic in place to win the show.
Has been humane throughout
As we have already said, Vikas Gupta is the most humane contestant on the show this season. He has forgiven people and given them second chances. Like he mended his friendship with Priyank Sharma, Shilpa Shinde and even tried to make amends with Hina Khan. He was the only one giving contestants water when others were busy pouring red chilli powder on them.
Can’t think rationally when he is low
Vikas is an emotional person. Things affect him easily and we have seen many examples of that on the show. In fact, we have seen people take advantage of his emotional vulnerabilities. That makes him weak! But also, in such moments he loses his way. He lets his emotions overpower his logic and sensibilities. An example of which is below the mentioned point.
Aggression
Vikas has lost his cool multiple times on the show. He has hit Akash Dadlani and Puneesh Sharma for which he faced repercussions. Channel might be accused of favouritism and be called unfair if Vikas wins despite being violently aggressive.
Lack of on-screen image
As opposed to Hina and Shilpa, Vikas’ popularity has been mostly off screen. To fight with Hina’s eight years long and Shilpa’s 15 years long run on-screen might be tough in the endgame.
