Estes Outreach continues to offer a robust Spanish language series for the community. Classes have a conversational focus, with as much language and cultural immersion as possible. These classes meet the needs of locals who enjoy traveling, lapsed Spanish students who want to brush up on skills, people who work with native Spanish speakers, and more. The cost for this series is $100 per person for twelve weeks of instruction.

José Almeida is a native of Ecuador who has taught Spanish for 30 years (21 years in Japan). Almeida is currently the School District Family and Cultural Liaison and has been teaching Adult Education Spanish classes through the Outreach program for the past eight years. He is an enthusiast for language and cultural education. There is a devoted, regular core to these classes that welcomes new students and those that want to get their feet wet with trying.
