Raceland happenings: Jan. 11, 2018

St. Mary’s Nativity Church: Andre and Krystal Allemand received the Traveling Chalice at the 10 a.m. Mass Jan. 14. They will keep the chalice for a week and pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, deaconate and religious life, especially among the young people of our parish and diocese. Anyone wishing to receive the chalice can contact Ronnie Danos at 537-7806.

Sympathy: In the charity of your prayer, please remember Dewey J. Foret and Tammy L. LeClair who have entered eternal rest. Please keep their family members in prayer that they find comfort and consolation in their faith.

Contribution statements: The 2017 contribution statements are ready. If you would like a statement of your 2017 contributions, please contact the Administration Office at 537-3204 during office hours. We will be happy to provide you with a copy of your statement. Thank you.

Country store donations: We are having a country store for the cook-off. If anyone has handmade or homemade items to donate to the country store, please bring them to the church office by noon Jan. 19. If you need the items picked up, please call the church office at 537-3204 and make arrangements to have them picked up.

Sick and home-bound: If you are homebound or sick at home or in the hospital and would like a visit from a priest or communion, please call the Administration Office at 985-537-3204.

Brick sale: As a way to help bring beauty to our grounds and help with our debt, we have made a brick prayer area in front of the church office. We are selling memorial bricks. Please pick up a brochure for more information or place order, this information is also available on our web site, stmnparish.org
