Jaipur, Jan 11: A massive fire engulfed a multiplex marriage lawn in Jaipur on Thursday. Six fire tenders were rushed to douse the fire that broke out at a marriage lawn situated inside the Entertainment Paradise Multiplex Complex.

“The whole set and its decorations have turned into ashes. However, fire did not affect the proceedings of the cinema hall which is away. No loss of life is reported in the accident,” Times of India quoted a senior fire officer, as saying.
The actual cause of fire is yet to be ascertained. (Also Read: Massive Fire at Chemical Factory near Vadodara)
Police said property worth crores was gutted in the blaze which broke out at about 2:45 PM.
The latest incident is the latest in a series of fire accidents that have occurred in the recent past. On December 29, 2017, a fire that started at a rooftop pub hosting a birthday party spread rapidly through the building, killing 14 people, most of them women, shortly after midnight in Mumbai’s posh Lower Parel area. The fire, which also injured 21 people, started after 12.30 am in the “1 Above” pub on the terrace, and spread to Mojo pub on the third floor one level below. The two gutted pubs are located in the Trade House Building in Kamala Mills compound in Lower Parel area, a popular night spot as well as commercial hub housing several offices including national television channels.
