Agra, Jan 11: Tensions prevails at the  Dau Dayal Institute of Vocational Education of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra, after women students were allegedly abused and threatened by some outsiders on Wednesday. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidharthi Parishad (ABVP) staged protest in the campus and demanded arrest of the miscreants and better security.

According to reports, the incident took place on Wednesday after when the girls were discussing questioned papers. An outsider, Manoj Sharma, and his men came in the campus and misbehaved with a first-year student. It is alleged that their car was bearing Samahwadi Party flag. They threatened the girls.

Chief Proctor Manoj Srivastava had lodged a complaint with the New Agra police.
