Alexis Sanchez to Man Utd: How could Mourinho's side look if they swoop for Arsenal star?
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly made a shock bid for Alexis Sanchez, so how could the Arsenal star fit into Jose Mourinho’s starting XI?
Sanchez has seemed set to move to Manchester City this month after refusing to sign a contract extension at the Emirates.
The Chilean’s current deal runs out at the end of the season, meaning Arsenal would have to sell now or risk losing the star for free.
However, The Guardian claim Manchester United have now attempted an audacious £25million swoop for Sanchez.
The Red Devils are also prepared to throw in out-of-favour ace Henrik Mkhitaryan in an effort to sweeten any deal.
It is believed that City had already submitted a £20m bid and agreed personal terms with the 28-year-old worth around £250,000 a week, but United’s approach complicates matters.
If United's approach is successful, Mourinho would still have his work cut out fitting Sanchez into his starting XI with so much other attacking talent at his disposal.
