Houston co-defensive coordinator/secondary coach Clay Jennings will not return next season, a source with knowledge of the situation said Wednesday.
Jennings will join Kliff Kingsbury's staff at Texas Tech.
UH coach Major Applewhite plans to hire a safeties coach to fill Jennings' spot and also hire a cornerbacks coach as FBS schools are now allowed to add a 10th full-time assistant to the staff.
