A youth was killed and another sustained serious injuries after two bikes collided at Villianur near here on Wednesday.
The accident occurred as the bike driven by Shanmugasundaram of Uthiravaaginipet hit another motorbike near Villianur killing Prathap, 27, of Kilmathur on the spot.
Prathap’s friend Kannan, 25, of Sirkazhi, riding pillion on the bike, sustained serious injuries. Shanmugasundaram, who sustained minor injuries, fled the scene.
