The Hennepin County medical examiner has identified the man killed this week in Plymouth during a deadly fight between brothers.
Jamison D. Ittel, 27, of Champlin, was arguing with his brother late Monday and early Tuesday when the fight escalated and he was fatally stabbed in the chest, authorities said.
Officers received a 911 call about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday from the Stoneleigh at the Reserve complex in the 5300 block of Annapolis Lane N.
An audio recording posted on the Police Clips website indicated that two brothers were fighting.
Ittel's 25-year-old brother is being held in the Hennepin County jail awaiting probable murder charges. The Star Tribune generally does not name suspects who have not been charged.
