SOUTHBURY – John E. “Jack” Aller died Jan. 5, 2018, at Waterbury Hospital.
Born Sept. 28, 1919, in Milford, N.J., predeceased by his mother, Laura (Flenard). and his brother, Frank. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Doris (Coss); daughter and son-in-law Kathy and James Garland, son and daughter-in-law J. Craig and Susan Aller; granddaughters Jennifer and Kaitlin; and sisters Susan, Linda, Diane and Nancy.
After graduating from Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C., Jack began his working life as a chemist for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Harbel, Liberia, West Africa, and retired as a sales representative for the chemical company, J.M. Huber Corp.
