DC holds review meetings

Deputy Commissioner, Garhwa, Dr Neha Arora held a series of review meetings with officials of different departments on Wednesday. She reviewed the activities of drinking water and sanitation department, status of paddy purchase centers, district social welfare department, health department etc.

Arora sought explanation from Garhwa and Meral BDO for not taking interest in construction of toilets work. She instructed to accelerate the construction of toilets. She also directed to the Meral BDO to declare Open Defecation Free block by January 20 and complete the MIS entry related to the construction of toilets till 31 January.

During the review of the supply department, DC instructed to prepare a list of beneficiaries who have not lifted the food grains and also reviewed the situation of distribution of ration. In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the situation of purchasing of paddy through Pax and Lamps. The DC Insisted on making information about purchasing of paddy online and directed to the DSO to trained lamps and pack presidents .to be trained.

He said that so far 12 thousand 700 quintal paddy has been procured. As many as 4904 farmers have been registered. During the review of the Department of Social Welfare, the Deputy Commissioner directed to the CDPO to do the second stage NSC to the beneficiaries of the Lakshmi Ladli scheme.

In addition, instructions were given to deposit bank account and Aadhaar number for payment of Divyang pension.

DDC Faiz Aq Ahmed Mumtaz, District Supply Officer Javed Anwar Idrisi, EE RS Ravi, Sushma Kumari, DSWO Shalini Vijay, Various Block BDO, CDPO, Doctors and others officials were present in the meeting.
