Daffodil International University (DIU) is playing a vital role to fulfill the dream of “Digital Bangladesh”, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said yesterday.
He was addressing the 7th convocation of the university on its Ashulia permanent campus. The minister presided over the convocation ceremony and conferred the degrees upon the graduates.
The minister urged the fresh graduates to come forward with new innovations of information and technology to help Bangladesh progress forward. A total of 3,498 students were conferred upon graduation and post graduation degrees. Of them, 15 were awarded “Gold Medals” in different categories for their achievements.
