Cold wave hits Manipur

Manipur is in the grip of a cold wave as the mercury plunged to 4 degree Celsius in the state capital on Monday. The maximum temperature recorded was 21 degree, according to weather observatory at Imphal Airport Metrological Centre. The weather observatory predicted same weather condition with chilly wind for the next few days.
The minimum temperature of the state that has around 10 degree Celsius in an average this month has been gradually going down in the last two days recording below 6 degree Celsius. Imphal has been hovering around 8-7 degree Celsius since January 4.
