Joint Secretary of Union Rural Development Ministry Atul Tiwari on Wednesday praised Hamar Chhattisgarh Scheme, during his visit to residential premises of Hotel Management Institute in Uparwara here, officials informed.
He also had a passing look on the photo exhibition put up by State Public Relations Department, holographic theatre and Clean India Mission Exhibition in the premises.
Hamar Chhattisgarh Scheme Officer Dinesh Agrawal informed the Joint Secretary about various dimensions and features of the scheme.
Tiwari suggested inclusion of skill development and livelihood-oriented works in the training that is being provided to panchayat representatives, under the scheme.
He also advised that organizations and their representatives who are working for rural development at grass roots level should also be included under the scheme.
