On 3rd day of National Sprint C’ship, sports academy athletes bag six gold, four silver medals

On the third day of 28th National Canoe Sprint Championship being played at lower lake, the  players of Water Sports Academy exhibited a wonderful performance bagging six gold and four silver medals.

Under the championship, under the one thousand meters race played on Wednesday, the academy in the competition of C-1 Woman, K-2 Sub Jr. Men's, K-4 Junior Men's, C4 Women, K-4 Junior Men's and K-4 Women Event The players of Madhya Pradesh got four silver medals in six gold and K1 Men's and Women, C-2 Junior Men's and K-4 Men's Event while achieving the golden success.

Academy’s players Meera Das took the time of 5.15.64 minutes to complete the race and got the gold medal in the 1,000 meter-C-1 individual event of the girls section played today.

In the sub junior K-2 event, Academy's player Balveer Jat won the gold medal in 3.50.82 minutes. In the K-4 Junior Mens event, Akademi player Ajatshatru and Yashpal Bundela gave Madhya Pradesh gold medals by completing their races in 3.22.23 minutes.

In the women's C-4 event, Academi player Namita Chandel and Rajeshwari Kushram bagged the gold medal in 4.26.32 minutes.

In the K-4 Junior Mens event, the player of the Academy, Balvir Jat, earned Gold Medal with 3.29.73 minutes time.

In the same-4 women event, Akademi's player Jina Devi completed the race in 3.52.84 minutes and gave gold medal to Madhya Pradesh.

Savita Yadav (5.13.05) won the silver medal in the all-junior K-1 Woman match played at the National Canoe Sprint Championship.

Similarly, in the K-1 match of the boys category, Academy's player Profoth Borai (3.57.98) earned silver medal. Academy's player Sudarshan Bishnoi (4.06.83) won the silver medal in Junior Men's C-2 event.

Similarly, in the K-4 competition of the boys category, Academi player Profoth Boroi and Ajatshatru (3.25.50) won silver medal.
