Four charged over Camilla and Marc designer clothing store robbery

Four people have been charged over a daring robbery at a designer clothes store in Sydney last month.

CCTV footage from the store showed two men using sledgehammers to break into the Camilla and Marc outlet in Rosebery in the early hours of December 29.

The robbers could then be seen ripping tens of thousands of dollars worth of high-end clothes from the racks.

Police have alleged the offenders then sold a number of the items online at low prices.

They are also alleged to have stolen a car from a mechanic's workshop in Matraville shortly before the heist.

Officers searched three homes in Redfern, Marrickville and Surry Hills on Wednesday where they arrested three men and a woman.

The men, aged 21, 22 and 23, were each charged with two counts of aggravated break, enter and steal.

The 21-year-old was also charged with a further seven unrelated break and enter and fraud offences.

He and the 23-year-old are expected to face the Central Local Court today.

The 19-year-old woman was charged with disposing of stolen property and dealing with proceeds of crime.

She was conditionally bailed to appear in court next month.

Some of the clothing has been recovered but police urged people to report any other Camilla and Marc items being sold at suspiciously low prices.
