Swisscom and Ceconet have developed a hybrid connection box for Wi-Fi and DECT, reported Cetoday.ch. The box marked Cecoflex Clik RJ enables the connection of a copper or fibre broadband line directly to the Swisscom router, as well as the distribution of telephony and LAN signals in additional rooms within a household.

If the broadband is received via copper, it is necessary to install a CAT5 or CAT6 cable from the splitter to the Cecoflex Clik RJ socket. If there is a FTTH connection, a Fibre Clik LC extension kit from Huber and Suhner can be used for connection from the OTO box. This connection cable for Clik to LC APC is available in the standard lengths of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 metres and has been tested and approved by Swisscom.
