Woman, 77, killed by hit-and-run driver on Queens street 

A 77-year-old woman was fatally struck by a driver who fled the scene in Queens early Tuesday, officials said.

The woman was crossing Parsons Blvd. at 32nd Ave. in Flushing about 7 a.m. when the vehicle hit her.

Medics rushed her to Flushing Hospital but she could not be saved.

The motorist drove off and was still being sought by police.
