LOS ANGELES — Immigration agents descended on dozens of 7-Eleven convenience stores before dawn Wednesday to begin checking on employees' immigration status in what officials described as the largest operation against an employer under Donald Trump's presidency. — SMUGGLING-CONCEALED DRUGS: Two Phoenix women were arrested at an Interstate 19 checkpoint in southern Arizona when found to have packages of pills hidden in their clothing.

— MEDICAL MARIJUANA-CAMPUSES: The Arizona Supreme Court has agreed to review a lower court's ruling that Arizona colleges and universities can prohibit medical marijuana on campuses but the state Legislature can't make it a crime.
