The twelfth annual Boatbuilders Show on Cape Cod returns Feb. 2-4 to the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis.
Over the past 11 years people have visited the show for the opportunity to see a selection of unique, custom, and limited-production wood and fiberglass boats. The show focuses on smaller builders of custom and limited-production boats. Boaters looking for something other than off-the-rack, production boats will discover more than 50 exhibitors and a large variety of custom-built sail and powerboats on display under one roof.
Buyers looking for this kind of craftsmanship and design have few opportunities to touch and actually board these boats while comparing workmanship and features from a variety of builders. Every visitor has the chance to talk directly with the craftsman and discuss details of the building process. The show presents a “family” of builders, passionate and proud of their product.
How-to demonstrations and seminars on "The Art Of Boat Building" will take place Saturday and Sunday from noon until 2:30 p.m.
Admission is $10 and children under 12 are admitted free.
Show hours are Friday from 2 to 7 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Ticket to the show includes admission to the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 165 South St., Hyannis.
