Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Tuesday informed the Assembly that inspector Periyapandian’s death mystery would be solved once the investigation ends.

Responding to LoP MK Stalin and DMK MLA J Anbazhagan’s statements in the House, Palaniswami, intervening during the debate on the motion thanking the Governor, said that no case has been registered against the inspector (Munisekhar) in Periyapandian’s death case.
The CM, who also holds the home portfolio, said, “How he (Periyapandian) died would be known after the investigation concludes."
