TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — Two farmers died after their motorcycle crashed into a car along the highway in Barangay Darumuangan Sur, San Mateo, Isabela on Monday. 

Reynante Daño, 30, and Reymundo Damasco, 52, both residents of Barangay Marasat Pequeño, were pronounced dead on arrival in a hospital.

Initial reports showed the motorcycle was hit by the car driven by Mardie Cabotaje, 29, when it crossed the highway from an interior street at about 10 p.m.

Cabotaje surrendered.
