Letter writer says there should always be tension between Trump and the media.

I’m glad President Donald Trump lit a fire under the media. “The media” is probably somewhere between what’s depicted in “The Post” and “Die Hard.”

My personal opinion is that governments, and the judiciary, should lean conservative. Our press should lean liberal. There should always be tension, us-against-them, between them. We should always watch most carefully when the press and the government are on the same page.

The media has been throwing everything they can at Trump, they should keep it up, that’s their job. So far, nothing seems to be sticking, even when his opponents have offered bounties for impeachable information.

We live in extremely interesting times.
