Telenet digita marketing campaign for small businesses reaches 5.7 mln people

Telenet Business completed today its 'Score Local With Digital' campaign, an initiative the company started to help Flemish entrepreneurs and SMEs promote their business online. During the month of December, the DigiBuzz, a large digital advertising board, circulated in over 25 cities and municipalities, spreading the word for 200 Flemish companies. Telenet Business also donated a free Facebook campaign and gave digital advice for a week.

According to research from Telindus, many Flemish entrepreneurs are still not active online. That is why Telenet Business launched the campaign, as an initiative to make it easier for entrepreneurs to launch an online presence. About 200 entrepreneurs took part in the campaign, reaching a total of 5.7 million customers via Facebook.

Around 16,636 people gave a like, good for an average of 86 likes per ad, while 1,075 people shared advertisements with their own network. Finally, nearly 64,000 people clicked through to the websites of the entrepreneurs.
