TORRINGTON – Eleanor L. Rubino, 94, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Valerie Manor, Torrington.
Miss Rubino was born in Torrington on Jan. 2, 1924, daughter of the late Emanuel and Ethel (Conran) Rubino, and had been a city resident most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a member of the Columbiettes.
Survivors include special nieces and nephews, Judy Alexander, Philip Alexander, Thad Alexander, Marian Ames and Claudia Reardon; two sisters-in-law, Vicky Rubino and Betty Rubino; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Vincent, Robert, Raymond and William Rubino; and sisters, Margaret Sawin and Virginia Alexander.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington. Burial will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
