Area Boys Basketball: Late Burley basket lifts Rangers

CROSBY—Jonathan Jacobson pumped in 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 70-68 win over the Staples-Motley Cardinals in a Mid-State Conference game Tuesday.

Isaac Burley registered 15 points and hit a two-pointer at the buzzer to bring C-I a home win.

Griffin Webster tallied 25 points and Josh Lombard added 23 points for the Cardinals.

S-M is on a four-game losing streak.
