We believe in inclusive Hindutva: Parameshwara

Asserting that the Congress believed in “inclusive Hindutva”, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G. Parameshwara asked whether the BJP is the custodian of Hindu culture. Addressing presspersons here, he said: “AICC president Rahul Gandhi’s visit to temples is being projected by the BJP as Congress practising ‘soft Hindutva’. All our leaders used to go to temples earlier too, which we never boasted of.” He said the party believed only in “inclusive Hindutva.” “The essence of Hindutva lies in taking everybody along. Who has made the BJP custodians of Hinduism? Are there not Hindus in other parties too,” he asked.
