The Tomahawks only led 32-27 at halftime before scoring 49 points in the second half.

Senior Kyle Henderson scored 18 points and junior Brian Duffy added 12 in the win.

Algonquin plays at Shepherd Hill on Friday.

WESTBOROUGH 81, LEOMINSTER 49: Junior captain Jake Hughes scored 16 points and had six rebounds, five assists and four steals to lead Westborough (5-1) past Leominster in a non-league game.

Junior captain Matt Doherty also scored 16 points, and had four assists and three rebounds in the win.

The Rangers led 45-25 at halftime.

Junior captain Mike Doherty had 12 points and six steals.

Westborough hosts Wayland on Thursday.

MARLBOROUGH 55, SHREWSBURY 49: Senior guard Kevin Short scored 20 points to lead Marlborough (6-2) to a win over Shrewsbury in a non-league matchup.

Panthers sophomore guard Stephen DiGregorio tallied 12 points and senior forward Chris Doherty added 10 points and five blocks in the victory.

Marlborough held a 27-23 lead at halftime.

Marlborough hosts Nashoba on Friday at 7:00 p.m.

NATICK 66, NORWOOD 48: Senior captain Peter Ryan scored 13 points to lead Natick (6-2, 3-1 BSC) to a victory over Bay State Conference foe Norwood.

Redhawks senior Stan Smudin tallied nine points and sophomore Alex Cohen added seven points in the win.

Natick visits Braintree on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

ASHLAND 55, DOVER-SHERBORN 51: Senior Jason Christiansen scored 16 points to lead Ashland (3-5, 3-3 TVL) past Dover-Sherborn in a Tri-Valley League game.

For the Raiders (4-5, 3-3 TVL), junior Brett Stark led the way with 18 points and freshman Evan Skeary added 10.

The Clockers led 27-20 at halftime.

D-S plays at Medfield on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

WESTWOOD 59, HOLLISTON 58: Senior Andrew Lynch scored 25 points but visiting Holliston (3-4, 2-4 TVL) fell to Westwood narrowly in Tri-Valley League action.

The Panthers had a chance to win the game at the last minute but couldn’t cash in.

Holliston trailed 27-22 at halftime.

The Panthers host Ashland on Friday.

ABBY KELLEY FOSTER 58, AMSA 51: Freshman guard Zack Marchese netted 22 points, including two 3-pointers, for AMSA (3-4, 1-3 CAL) in a Colonial Athletic League loss to visiting Abby Kelley Foster.

Junior guard Nico Ciolino had 11 points, and junior Nick Gopaul added nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Eagles.

The Eagles trailed 34-22 at the half.

AMSA hosts Main South in a league game on Thursday at 6 p.m.

LINCOLN-SUDBURY 62, CONCORD-CARLISLE 22: Senior Jack Sorbo scored 17 points and added six rebounds to help Lincoln-Sudbury (5-2) rout Concord-Carlisle in a non-league contest.

The Warriors had 12 different scorers in the win over the Patriots.

“That’s been our thing everyone, to be ready when called on and our depth is going to guide us throughout the year and that was the case today,” L-S coach Mike Normant said. “We played 14 guys in the game today and to have 12 guys score says a lot about what we can bring to the table in regards to depth.”

L-S next plays on Friday at Newton South.

ACTON-BOXBORO 59, WAYLAND 50: Senior guard Oliver Moody scored 14 points to lead Wayland (0-7) but the Warriors fell to Acton-Boxboro in a non-league matchup. Warriors sophomore forward Jack Melvin came off the bench to score five points and grabbed seven rebounds.

Wayland trailed 10-2 after the first quarter and 27-21 at halftime.

Wayland next visits Westborough on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

AUSTIN PREP 63, MARIAN 39: Sophomore guard Jordan Perry scored 12 points to pace Marian (4-5, 1-4 CCS) but the Mustangs fell to Catholic Central Small foe Austin Prep.

Marian senior forward Ashanti Brodie tallied 11 points while junior forward Romeo Horsley added nine points in the loss.

Marian hosts South Lancaster Academy on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
