AJMAN: A major fire that broke out at a warehouse stocking construction material in Ajman was well controlled and put out by the Ajman Civil Defence.

One of the Civil Defence officials explained that the dense smoke emitting from flammable material in the warehouse had engulfed most of the area. The official explained that the warehouse premises were immediately evacuated, ensuring safety of workers. Apart from some loss of stock, he assured that there were no casualties. The warehouse was cordoned off to ensure that the fire did not spread further.
