Message for postal voters!

Election Commission says the poll cards will be issued to eligible postal voters in the island except for the districts of Batticaloa and Northern Province from this Saturday (Jan. 13).

However, the poll cards were to be distributed from tomorrow.

Issuing a statement, the Chairman of Election Commission, Mahinda Deshapriya said the distribution of poll cards was postponed due to a delay in printing the list of candidates, which needed to be sent to the voters.
