According to a report by NBC News, a group of female Democratic lawmakers will wear black to the State of the Union address. This is their way of taking part of the #MeToo and #TimesUp campaigns against sexual harassment.
NEW: A group of female Democratic lawmakers are planning to wear black to President Trump’s first State of the Union address, two sources confirm to @NBCNews. The statement is meant to be a show of solidarity to the anti-sexual harassment #MeToo and #TimesUp movements.

As soon as people got word of the legislators’ plans, they instantly became a laughing stock.
Pink Pussyhats would go well with the black outfits. pic.twitter.com/Z24tlqBaZI

Bet it’d really bring out their eyes.
I wonder if these were the gals that were streakers in college in the 70’s?

More than likely. They probably burned their bras too.
I wear black 75% of the time, please use your voice and not your wardrobe or posture to make a stand…it makes the point of speaking up a little more valuable

That’d be too easy for them to do.
The Congressional Hush the Victims with Taxpayer Funds practice triggered me more than about anything in 2017. We’re still waiting to find out who used it. Rather than wear black, the ladies should just reveal the names of the perverts. More productive than a costume.

OH NO! We don’t want anyone triggered. How HORRIBLE.
That’ll really pop against all the men in black suits there.

Maybe they want to get lost in a crowd?
Same group that were caught playing games &/or on Facebook on their phones last time?

Some of them probably sat on the House floor too.
I have been wearing an article of black every day since T was somehow elected.

You must really be proving something to the world.
Oh freakin please that #GoldenGlobes protest was a fucking joke. All the baby actors and actresses allowed that to happen for years and never said a word. Now wearing black makes everything ok? They need to live a real life

Out here in the real world, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you wear. It doesn’t stop would-be attackers from touching you.
They really need to grow up and put their adult panties on!!
— JT (@JackieTortora1) January 10, 2018
Translation: Come on, ladies! Put your big girl panties on.

You can’t fix stupid.
Lol….. Once a snowflake, always a snowflake.

Maybe they’ll melt during the speech. Wouldn’t that be hilarious?
