College women's hockey: Pipers rout Saints

Bre Simon had a hat trick and Sarah Bobrowski added two goals and three assists as 10th-ranked Hamline rolled to a 9-3 nonconference victory over St. Scholastica on Tuesday night in St. Paul.

Six players scored for the Pipers (10-2-1), and goalie McKenna Hulslander needed just 15 saves to earn the win. Hamline outshot the Saints 52-18 while extending its unbeaten streak to seven games.

Emily Stegora had two goals to lead St. Scholastica (6-2-4), which had its four-game unbeaten streak snapped. After trailing 3-0 after the first period, the Saints skated even with Hamline in the second period before the Pipers pulled away with four unanswered goals in the third.
