Findlay/O-G Basketball Tickets
Presale tickets for Findlay High’s boys basketball contest with Ottawa-Glandorf on Jan. 13 will be on sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Friday in the athletic office. Presale tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
Lacrosse Clinic
The City of Findlay Recreation Department is partnering with The University of Findlay Women’s Lacrosse program to offer a Lacrosse camp on Sunday, Jan. 14 from noon-2 pm at The University of Findlay Koehler Center, 1000 N. Main St. The camp is for boys and girls ages 5-18 and the cost is $30. Sticks and balls will be provided. Soccer Referee Clinic
LIMA — A one-day clinic leading to certification as a U.S. Soccer grade 8 referee will be from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Feb. 24 at the Bath Community Center in Lima. Interested persons can go to ossrc.com, click “clinics” on the left sidebar, search “referees” and “District 5: Sidney, and follow the instructions for the online training portion and registration. The section on concussion training. must be completed prior to class. Those 18 or over must also complete the Kids Safe risk management form. A “bridge” class is also available for those who wish to officiate high school games. That class will be in March at Rhodes State in Lima.
