VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) sold 6,087 units in December 2017 as compared to 4,071 units in December 2016, recording a growth of 49.5 per cent. This includes 5,955 units of Eicher brand and 132 units of Volvo brand.
Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded a total sale of 5,955 units in December 2017 (YTD 42,120 units) as compared to 3,969 units in December 2016 (LYTD 40,546 units), recording a growth of 50 per cent.
In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 5,045 units (YTD 36099 units) in December 2017 as compared to 3,269 units in December 2016 (LYTD 34,395 units) representing a growth of 54.3 per cent.
On the exports front, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded a total sale of 910 units in December 2017 (YTD 6021 units) as compared to 700 units in December 2016 (LYTD 6,151 units) representing a growth of 30 per cent.
Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 132 units in December 2017 (YTD 707 units) as compared to 102 units in December 2016 (LYTD 738 units), recording a growth of 29.4 per cent.
