SENECAVILLE — Rosalie Arthurs, 87, of Senecaville, died Monday (January 8, 2018) at Countryview Assisted Living Center, Lore City.
She was born March 4, 1930 in Buffalo, daughter of the late Charles English and Mary Ruth (Kirkbride) English.
Mrs. Arthurs retired from RCA. She had also worked at the former Cambridge State Hospital in central supply and as a ward attendant.
She was a former member of the VFW 2901 Ladies Auxiliary, Moose Lodge 396 Auxiliary, and the Eagles Aerie 386 Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Eugene Arthurs, who died April 17, 2002. They were married October 23, 1998. Also deceased is a daughter, Judy Miley; a granddaughter, Kimberly English Dean; and a sister, Mildred Calhoun.
She is survived by two sons, Rick (Cindy) Hillyer of Quaker City and Jack (Joyce) English of Alliance; two daughters, Lougene (Paul) Singleton of Senecaville and Suzie Hillyer of Pleasant City; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her nieces, Tammy Lennon, Ruth Ann (Albert) Henry, and Carlene (Steve) McManaway.
No calling hours will be observed.
Graveside services and burial will be Friday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. at Senecaville Cemetery with Pastor Sturman Moore officiating.
