Wesley College Coordinator of Advising Georgeanna M. Spagnolo was awarded a National Academic Advising Association Region 2 Ambassador Scholarship.
NACADA fosters and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to improve the educational development of students.
The organization offers a forum for discussion, debate and the exchange of ideas pertaining to academic advising through a variety of events and activities and special publications.
Scholarship winners are entitled to a complimentary one-year general membership to NACADA, a complementary Region 2 conference registration for this year’s conference and reimbursement for up to $500 in travel expenses.
The presentation of this award will be made during a ceremony at the annual Region 2 Conference, set for March 21-23 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, 1131 N. Dupont Highway.
