Liverpool to splash extra cash on Naby Keita transfer this month - Sky Sports claim
LIVERPOOL are prepared to offer RB Leipzig more money in an attempt to bring forward the arrival of midfielder Naby Keita.
That is according to Sky Sports reporter and transfer expert Rob Dorsett.
Liverpool have agreed to sign Guinea international Keita next summer for £66.4million.
However, with the departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £142m, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to have Keita at Anfield this month.
Dorsett claims Klopp is not actively looking to sign a replacement for Coutinho and is instead focusing his attentions on 22-year-old Keita.

“The departure of Coutinho from Anfield, of course the second biggest deal in history, the biggest story of this window by a mile so far, it could lead to a domino effect of other significant deals,” Dorsett said.
“The sale has left Jurgen Klopp with a big creative hole to fill, pots of cash to spend as well.
“But we’re told Klopp will not rush into finding a replacement in this window.

“They’ve agreed a £66.4million deal remember, that will bring him to Liverpool in the summer.
“But they are prepared to offer more money to get him now but at the moment Leipzig won’t budge.
“I think there’s more words to be had behind the scenes there.”
