Bullpups open season at Baker Tournament

WICHITA — The McPherson High School bowling teams opened up their seasons on Saturday at the Baker Tournament hosted by Bishop Carroll.

The boys finished 10th in a strong field, while the girls, battling youth this season, finished 14th out of 24 teams. The boys tallied a high game of 426 and scored 2,325 overall. The girls finished with a high game of 327 and scored 1,673 overall.

No other information was available by press time.

The Bullpups take on Mulvane on Thursday before hosting Wichita Collegiate on Friday. Thursday’s dual will take place in Derby, while Friday’s dual will take place at Starlite Lanes.
