Governor Ram Naik gave his approval to eight Bills passed by UP legislature during the recently concluded Winter session.
The Bills approved by the Governor are `UP Industrial Area Development (Amendment) Bill 2017, UP Adhar (Targeted payment of financial subsidies) Bill 2017, Vocational Association (UP amendment) 2017, UP Cinema (Regulation) (Amendment) Bill, 2017, UP Excise (Amendment) Bill, 2017, UP Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2017, UP Repeal Bill, 2017 and UP Pryagraj Mela Authority, Allahabad, Bill, 2017.
Of them, UP Industrial Area Development (Amendment) Bill seeks to create centralized service cadre of officers working in industrial development authorities like NOIDA, Greater NOIDA, GIDA, SIDA, LIDA and Yamuna Expressway Authority.
