WEST CHESTER >> Chester County Fund for Women and Girls will host a panel discussion in our WomenTalk series on the changes we have seen in our communities – and throughout the country – in 2017 as we turn our collective focus to the work that still needs to be done. Women on the Rise: Stories from a Movement will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 8:30 at Unitarian Congregation of West Chester, 501 S. High Street in West Chester. All interested members of the community are welcome to participate in this free event that includes light refreshments, constructive dialogue and ideas for moving forward together as we reflect on the cultural movement that 2017 sparked in the women in our community.
Nia Meeks, principal at bgConnex, communications leader and political consultant, will moderate the discussion. She will be joined by panelists Patricia Maisano, Chester County Treasurer-Elect; Kate Young, a concerned citizen; and Jasmine Sessoms, founder of the non-partisan organization She Can Win.
To RSVP, email Maeve at mkelly@ccfwg.org or call 484-356-0940.
