‘It’s a stunt by the Royals’ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle blasted ahead of visit today
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have been blasted ahead of their visit to a Brixton radio station today.
The royal couple will meet presenters and staff from Reprezent FM, but the engagement has been labelled a “stunt” by locals.
Mike Eweje, from a local store, said: “It’s a stunt for the royal family.
“Did Will come here with his missus?
“I don’t think so. It’s like, 'Look at us, we’ve got a black person with us now’.”

Mr Eweje added that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not care about residents in Brixton.
He added: "People don’t care about the royal wedding because they don’t care about people around here."
Lifestyle shop owner Anita Thorpe declared that the future royal will not make a “massive difference” from her latest public outing with her ginger fiancee.
She stated: “She’s hardly Serena Williams.
“She’s not going to make any dents or any ripples. It’s not going to make a massive difference.
“They think it’s a good fit coming to Brixton.
“It’s a bit of a cliché, but I guess also something quite positive.”

Reprezent FM teaches media and employment skills to young people - its programme was established 10 years ago.
The radio station’s initiative was established following a rise in knife crime in the area.
The Prince and the Suits star will learn about the programme while meeting current and former volunteers who benefited from the training scheme.

Henrie Kwushue, who presents a morning rap at Reprezent, expressed her excitement for the visit later on today.
She explained: “I absolutely love the royals, it’s ridiculous.
“The fact they’re coming here, they’re interested in diversity, they’re interested in what we have to say."
