Alabama’s national championship football team is scheduled to return to Tuscaloosa Regional Airport at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide defeated Georgia, 26-23, in the College Football Playoff National Championship in Atlanta on Monday for the school's 17th national title.

Alabama’s national championship football team is scheduled to return to Tuscaloosa Regional Airport at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide defeated Georgia, 26-23, in the College Football Playoff National Championship in Atlanta on Monday for the school's 17th national title.

Alabama will celebrate its national title on Saturday, Jan. 20.

In the past the team has ridden team busses to its Walk of Champions entrance in the North end zone and walked to the front steps of Bryant-Denny Stadium, where UA dignitaries, coach Nick Saban and select players speak to to the crowd.

The team normally shows off the new championship trophies during the celebration.
