Greater Rockford Area Lutheran Schools to hold informational meetings

ROCKFORD — Greater Rockford Area Lutheran Schools will hold information sessions about the Invest in Kids Act on Jan. 9-11 at three schools.

Sessions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at Rockford Lutheran Academy, 1711 Delcy Drive; 6 p.m. Jan. 10 at Concordia Lutheran School, 7424 N. Second St., Machesney Park; and 6 p.m. Jan. 11 at Alpine Academy, 5001 Forest View Ave.

Parents will learn about the new law and how to apply for a scholarship for their children to attend a nonpublic school. Applications can be submitted beginning Jan. 24.
