6-7 Christian Brown of Lower Richland is held in high regard nationally in the 2019 class, and at this point in his recruiting, he's looking more at things nationally than locally.

Brown's offers include USC, Clemson, Kansas, UNLV, Oklahoma State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Florida State, LSU, Auburn, Wake Forest and Connecticut. Last Saturday he made an unofficial visit to Georgia.

"My visit to Georgia was great," Brown said.  "I had a good experiences with the coaches and had a blast with my mom.   I also talked to my (AAU) teammate (Georgia commitment) Ashton (Hagans) while I was down here."

Brown also has visited UNLV and he plans to visit Clemson this Saturday when the Tigers play Miami.  He also plans to visit Georgia Tech January 28th.

Brown hopes to make his decision well before the November signing period.

"I would like to make a decision in the spring.  I Just need to take a few more visits and start my official visits soon," he said.  "I have plans to visit UNLV during spring break.  That's the only one so far.  Hopefully I can visit Florida State soon as well."

Brown said he's hearing the most from Georgia, Georgia Tech, UNLV, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Massachusetts and Florida and those are the schools that have his attention.  He said Clemson just reached back out to him Monday regarding a visit this Saturday and he hopes the Tigers pick up the effort.

"Hopefully this weekend I can get a feel," he said.  "My mother nor myself has spoken with the head coach yet, but I am excited to have my mother visit the campus this weekend."

Brown is averaging 23 points per game this season.
