MECON inks MoU with KIOCL

Atul Bhatt, CMD, MECON and MV Subbarao, CMD, KIOCL signed an MoU at Mangalore, in the presence of Union Steel Minister, Chaudhary Birender Singh, Secretary Steel, Dr. Aruna Sharma and other officials from Ministry of Steel, MECON and KIOCL. The MoU is for Joint Participation in Projects of Mining, Beneficiation, Pelletisation, Coal Washery, etc. The synergized expertise of MECON and KIOCL will contribute significantly towards achieving the objective of 300 MT steel production as envisaged in the National Steel Policy, 2017.

BBW to help talented students

Over 500 people associated with the Brahma Bhatt World group met at IMA Ranchi today during the Manthan programme organised here on Monday. During the programme it was decided that the group will help talented students coming from poor economic background. Ramsundar Dadhaunsi will head the panel made for the purpose, while Hariom Bhatt will supervise works for backwad and small villages. Manthan was organised by trade union leader Ajay Rai, who will head the panel to help unemployed students.   

FJCCI meet with ILACC officials

Indo-Latin American Chamber of Commerce (ILACC) representatives met with Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) officials on Monday and discussed about their efforts of developing and encouraging commerce and trade environment in various countries. They also appealed to the commerce and trade bodies in states of India to work together. Both the organisations also agreed upon organising workshop on import-export in Ranchi in March this year. Meanwhile, FJCCI conducted cleanliness drive in Kunjlal Street in presence of RMC Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijayvargeeya, apart from organising a BSNL camp in Chamber Bhawan.

 Mahto pays tribute to martyrs

Former Deputy Chief Minister and AJSU Chief Sudesh Mahto along with Minister Chandra Prakash Chuadhary on Monday paid tribute on the martyrdom site of Sheikh Bhikhari and Tikait Umrao Singh at Chtttupalu in Ormanjhi in Ranchi.
