Wanted man arrested

One man is now in custody following the seizure of a firearm and two rounds of ammunition in Greater Portmore, St Catherine yesterday.

He is also wanted in relation to a murder, which occurred on July 18, 2017.

Reports from the Portmore Police are that about 3:53 p.m., an intelligence-led operation was conducted at a premises in the area, where a plastic bag containing one .38 Revolver and the ammunition was found in one of the rooms.

One man was arrested in connection to the find. However his identity is being withheld pending other investigations.
